If you're looking for some design inspiration or Christmas decorating ideas come take a look at the Zorzi home, also known as the ‘Hospital House’ on the Chantry Island Cham-bettes Christmas Home Tour in Saugeen Shores.
For the third year, Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is the charity of choice and the previous two years the Cham-bettes have raised over $11,000 for the Foundation. This year they're hoping to exceed that amount.
The Home Tour begins Friday evening, November 13 at 6pm, until 9 and continues through Saturday, November 14 from 11am to 4pm. Advance tickets are $20 and are available at Bayberry’s in Southampton, Cathy’s Flowers ‘N Treasures and Port's Emporium in Port Elgin. Tickets are also available at the door for $25.
The Zorzi Home is a modern industrial home with festive décor, provided by the design team Carla Pavlov of CR Designs, Cathy Fenlon of Cathy's Flowers 'N Treasures and Carol Norris of The Light House Gallery.
Pavlov and Fenton have donated their time to the Home Tour since its inception and are happy to have Carol Norris join them this year to provide some wonderful pieces of art and photography.
Kristyn and Mark Zorzi are excited to open up their eight year old home to this year's tour. The open concept bungalow is exquisitely decorated, features two staircases, two fireplaces, a butler’s pantry, a home gym and a games room with theatre area.
Mark has built much of their furniture and it adds an excotic influence to their modern atmosphere. The Zorzis have travelled extensively and have incorporated items from around the world.
Kristyn has enjoyed working with Carla as she once envisioned herself as an interior designer.
“Kristyn has a natural ability and it has been a real pleasure working with her,” said Pavlov.
