Peewee B

The 2019 Royal Canadian Legion Peewee B hockey team, along with Coaches Mark Heipel and Darryl McKinnon and Team Manager Todd Nason, were congratulated by Mayor Luke Charbonneau and Deputy Mayor Don Matheson in Saugeen Shores Council Chambers April 8.

A crowded Council Chambers applauded as one by one, members of the 2019 Royal Canadian Legion Peewee B Saugeen Shores Storm hockey team, 2019 provincial champions, were congratulated by Mayor Luke Charbonneau and Deputy Mayor Don Matheson.

Each player was handed a Certificate of Excellence “in recognition of outstanding achievement" for having won the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) Peewee B all-Ontario championships.

After an exciting season, the Saugeen Shores Peewee B team beat Lambeth in the finals.
