It was a bumpy day for some of the women competing in the Fall Volleyball Tournament that declared the Ball Knockers champions in their Recreation division and the Volley Girls victorious in the Competitive division, December 12 at École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School.

The tournament saw seven teams in the recreation division compete, and five in the competitive category. The fall season was played at Saugeen District Secondary School that boasts a higher ceiling. Many competitors at Saturday’s tournament had issues with the lower ceiling at École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School.

The top teams going into the tournament on the recreational side were: Victorious Secrets, Ball Knockers and Spiked Punch.

The top teams in the competitive division were: Bump n Grind, Volley Girls and No Diggity.

Teams have the chance for retribution when the league, run by Social Athletics of Saugeen Shores (S.A.S.S.) resumes in January.
