The Town of Saugeen Shores is looking for nominations for their 2024 Heritage Conservation Award.

"Do you know someone in Saugeen Shores who has helped conserve an older building or environmental heritage site, or who actively promotes our cultural heritage," asked a recent media release.

Since 2005, the near annual award from the Saugeen Shores Municipal Heritage Committee has aimed to "recognize the hard work of those who preserve and enhance our historical, cultural, natural and built heritage." the release said.

The recipient, an organization, business or individual, will be recognized at a public ceremony with the Mayor and local dignitaries.

Nominations will be accepted until March 31, 2024. Please include the nominee's name, address and phone number as well as your contact information and why you think the nominee is deserving of recognition.

Nominations can be sent via email to clerk@saugeenshores.ca or to the Clerk's Office at the Town of Saugeen Shores municipal office, 600 Tomlinson Dr., PO Box 820, Port Elgin, Ontario, N0H 2C0.
