Bruce Telecom presented a cash donation to Huron Shores Hopice in December 2020.
Bruce Telecom has donated complimentary internet, phone and television services, for a period of two years, for the new second suite at Huron Shores Hospice, which is expected to open in February or March of this year.
In a January 20 media release, the complimentary services, as well as a $5,000 cash donation, was presented to Huron Shores Hospice in December.
“Everyone has been touched in some way by the death of a loved one, and this area is truly blessed to have Huron Shores Hospice as a support for individuals and their families during these difficult times,” said Stephanie Brunato, Manager of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care. “All of us here at Bruce Telecom are honoured to be able to support such a vital organization in our community.”
“Bruce Telecom is a longtime supporter of our community hospice,” said Cheryl Cottrill, Co-Chair of Huron Shores Hospice. “They provided the same complimentary package in our existing suite and we are so thankful for this additional support for the second suite," Cottrill said, adding that the $5,000 cash donation will go toward the purchase of necessary items for the second suite.
