The County of Bruce is accepting proposals for the purchase and relocation of the former Anglican rectory at 254 High Street in Southampton.
The property, adjacent Bruce County Museum, was a focal point in recent talks regarding the proposed Nuclear Innovation Institute.
The house is to be moved off site and restored on the purchaser's own lot, read a January 12 notice from the County of Bruce. The house will be offered for sale by sealed bid, with preference given to proposals to move the house. In the event that no such proposals are received, proposals for salvage are also to be considered.
The bid document can be downloaded from the County’s Bids & Tenders site. Companies wishing to access the Request for Proposal (RFP) will need to register.
The RFP is set to close Tuesday, January 20, 2019 at 2 p.m.
