Members of the Saugeen Shores Corvette Club donated 30 stuffed bears to the Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS).

In a SSPS media release, the bears will be available in all cruisers and at the station to comfort children who are victims of crime or have experienced a traumatic event.

The Club consists of 56 members who collectively donated $670 to purchase the bears. Club President Ron Knight said that this is first time the group has done anything like this and added that he anticipates the club will continue with this program in the future.
