we scare hunger

Thanks to some friendly competition between classes, the Me2We group at École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School (ÉPESCS) had a record-breaking Halloween Food Drive this year.

In an ÉPESCS submission, a huge "Wildcat Wow" goes out to all families who supported the recent Food Drive. Students collected and boxed an amazing grand total of 2,362 items.

Thanks to community support, the shelves at the local food banks will be well stocked.

Special mention to Mrs Cruickshank’s class of Grade 1s who were the top collectors in the school with a whopping 214 items. A huge thank you also to food sorters Mrs Stevens and Mrs Palko who may have retired from teaching but are certainly still fantastic supporters of École Saugeen Central and the Me2We group.

Congratulations on another great example of ÉPESCS community thinking "we" not "me". Way to go, Wildcats!
