A Pop-up Book Shop will be held on Saturday, November 17, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Community Room at the Port Elgin Branch Library.
The event will feature three local authors. Anne Duke Judd is the author of “Bruce Day by Day”, and other titles. Jean Lagace will have two books "A Tangled Web" and "Mimi The French Twist" short stories, both are about romance, suspense, humour, dilemmas, conspiracies, consequences. And finally, Lee Johnston is the author of “Damnation Corner,” a murder mystery set in 1903 Owen Sound.
The Pop-up Book Shop supports the work of the South Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council, an agency helping young people with reading skills through volunteer tutors working one-on-one with students, often in libraries or other accessible locations. Check www.sgbyouthliteracy.org to find out more.
