The Chantry Island Cham-bettes hosted a star-gazing event raising $2,626 to be shared between the Bluewater Education Foundation and the Bluewater Astronomy Society.

In a Cham-bettes submission, the event was held August 17 where a night was spent in the dorm rooms at the Outdoor Education Centre in Oliphant and a star talk and tour of the observatory was held by the Astronomy Society.

Each participant pledged $100 in order to take part with 26 participants in all.
