For those looking for excitement this March Break the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) has a packed schedule of activities with KidZone Day Camp and Family Fun Days. Each day there is a different theme with special guests, activities and movies on the big screen.
In a Bruce County Museum media release, the Family Fun Days begin on Monday, March 12 with Vita Bowen hosting a Circus Workshop where she’ll teach participants awesome circus tricks. On Tuesday little chefs are invited to participate in a cooking class led by local business Little Black Dog Catering.
Discover the world of Invasive Species on Wednesday with a presentation by Nancy Griffin. Learn some creative moves in the Hip Hop workshop with Jess Wong. Friday is all about Awesome Astronomy with John Hlynialuk leading a presentation at 11 a.m., following lunch there will be telescope
demonstrations.
Finally, this busy week ends with the Amazing Science Show on Saturday. This fun filled week is free for Museum members and general admission applies for non-members.
March Break Family Fun Days is proudly presented by Judy Rich Barrister & Solicitor and the Rotary Club of Southampton.
At the March Break KidZone Discovery Day Camp, children will be entertained with daily themes and activities. Kids aged 5 to 12 can sign up for a single day or the whole week; each day will be filled with crafts, experiments, outdoor adventures and time in the exhibits to explore. Space is limited, pre-registration is required and can be completed by calling the Museum at 519-797-2080.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., early drop off or late pick up may be arranged for an additional fee.
