There were plenty of helping hands at the Southampton Legion Ladies Auxiliary Bazaar and Bake Sale October 21.

A trove of crafty ideas filled the Southampton Legion Branch 155 as the Ladies Auxiliary hosted their Christmas Bazaar October 21. The annual bazaar that gives back to veterans in the community included a bake sale, and a few tasty treats including turkey and ground beef meat pies, that will be ready for sale at the Legion.
The Southampton Legion is readying themselves to host veterans and families on Remembrance Day, November 11. The Colour Party, Veterans and Dignitaries will march down High Street, meeting at the Cenotaph for the Remembrance Day service. Following the service, everyone is welcome back to the Southampton Legion where a hot meal will be served at 1 p.m. and a music performance will get underway at 3 p.m.

Diane Couturier’s crafts were showcased on many tables at the Southampton Legion’s Bazaar, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary October 21. Couturier will take her Christmas crafts to Sauble Beach’s Zion Church in November.
