Jeff Cronin, Bruce Chapter Society of Energy Professionals presented a cheque for $1,000 to John Van Bastelaar with the Rotary Huron Shore Run for their 2016 event, happening on June 4.

“The Bruce chapter has been a big supporter of this event for many years and continue to empathize how important our local hospital is to the well being of our community,” said Van Bastelaar in an email to The Hub.

The donation will help cover event costs, which in turn will leave more of the funds raised going directly to the Hospital Foundation.

“As representative of the committee I would like to offer a big appreciation to the Bruce Chapter for their continued support,” said Van Bastelaar.
