Tickets are selling quickly to this year’s Gala Fundraiser supporting Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey.
“We only have about 50 tickets left to sell,” said Community and Fund Development Coordinator Tiffany Love, “and they will go quickly.”
The Live Auction is going to be bigger and better this year. Would you like to fly anywhere with WestJet? WestJet has graciously provided tow return tickets anywhere they fly. And Women’s House has added a suitcase full of goodies for your travel.
Imagine a fun road trip for you and three friends to Toronto. Add a gas card, meal vouchers, accommodation at a downtown hotel, and four City Line tickets. With give-aways for audience members, it’s sure to be a good time.
Women’s House promises additional surprises. Maybe a sports themed pack or packages including beer or wine?
Although the Gala event is an evening full of fun and entertainment, it is also an evening of charity. All of the funds raised at the Gala go directly towards the services and client necessities not covered by government funding. Women’s House relies on major fundraisers, such as the Gala, to ensure the current level of vital services and programs are continued for the women and children in need in our community.
The Gala could not be successful without the support from the Prestige Sponsor, Bruce Power, and the Corporate Sponsors: Armow Wind, Greenfield Ethanol, Bruce Telecom, Power Workers’ Union, Matchett Financial Services, The Co-operators, Meridian Credit Union, Miller Insurance Brokers and Ontario Power Generation. Also helping with the success of this event are all of the local businesses and organizations donating to the silent auction.
The Gala will take place on October 17 at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. Tickets are $75 and include a fantastic dinner served by the Queen’s Bar & Grill, live entertainment, both silent and live auctions, as well as the chance to win one of three elimination prizes.
