A new book recently published, The ART of Being Healthy – Real Life Accounts of Children and Mothers Healing with Chiropractic, features Dr. Doug Fryday as a contributing author, a family chiropractor from Optimize Healing Centre, Port Elgin.
The book consists of real-life stories of health and healing, written by chiropractors, with a specific focus on children and mothers.
Fryday said he was contacted by Vice President of Professional Relations at Life University and the book's editor, Dr. Gilles LaMarche a few months ago to be a contributing author.
“It is an honour to have been selected to contribute a true life healing story, with a group of internationally recognized doctors. It is my hope that when people read this book, they will see that there is hope for them and their children,” said Fryday who has practiced in Saugeen Shores for 30 years.
Fryday's contributing story was about a newborn Amish boy he helped. “His name is David, so it's called The Story of David,” he said. “It's an interesting story because we're adjusting three generations now of that same family.”
The book is available to purchase at Optimize Healing Centre for $10 with all proceeds going to the Caitlyn Cobean Community Crusaders in support of the Tara "Boom" Houston Children's Foundation.
