Fitness Funatics has donated a transport defibrillator and bag to Saugeen Memorial Hospital with funds raised from their Fitness FUNattack held in March. Shelley Greig, owner of Fitness Funatics had a defibrillator had been donated to her gym and the donor has since passed away due to a heart condition. “The transport defibrillator will go in the ambulance and is able to monitor oxygen levels, heart rate, blood pressure and perform the defibrillator function in case of cardiac arrest,” said Sally Kidson, Executive Director, Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Donna Chappelle said that it will be used daily, “a very essential piece of equipment.”
