Following a winning performance by the Allegro Youth Chorus and Chamber Choir at the annual Kiwanis Music Festival April 12, they will be performing their final Spring concert May 27.

Under the direction of Shelley Van Veghel and Erin Milley Patey, the group brought home three gold standings from the annual music festival, the full chorus performing two pieces in one class and the smaller Chamber Choir performing four pieces in two classes.

The Allegro Youth Chorus 2018 Spring Concert will be held at the Port Elgin United Church on Sunday, May 27 at 2 p.m.

Organizers are currently looking for donations for their silent auction with funds raised not only helping to keep membership fees affordable but also supporting a trip to Stratford to see Music Man.
