Southampton is known for its stunning views and abundant scenery and the Southampton BIA’s first ever Scenes of Southampton Photo Contest is set to showcase just that.

From December 15 through February 15, committee members will accept entries through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #scenesofsouthampton, or by email at southamptonbia@gmail.com.

Only digital photos will be eligible and entrants must own the rights to the photo. All images have to be taken within the community of Southampton and within the last 2 years. Imagination and originality are encouraged.

A panel of judges will review all eligible entries and pick one grand prize winner and nine second place winners. The grand prize winner will receive $100 cash and all winners will have their submission framed and displayed, with photo credit, in various public places in Saugeen Shores. The winning photographs will also be used by the Southampton BIA in social media, print, and promotional material to promote Southampton.
