The Southampton Art School & Gallery hosted its 8th Annual 'Up Your Alley' event on Saturday, September 5 between 10am and 4pm.

The annual event took place in the alley between the Art School & Gallery and included over 25 artists and artisans, who had the opportunity to display and sell their unique and handmade items in an open-market atmosphere. There was art of all kinds including weaving, jewellery, pottery, paintings, woodwork and glasswork.

The Southampton Rotary also hosted their annual summer Up Your Alley barbecue with proceeds going to local Rotary projects and the Southampton Art School.

Potter Murray Fox, commented on the great weather and added, “It's been a good day, steady and lots of people around.”
