The boys and girls curling teams from Saugeen District Secondary School had impressive results at CWOSSA competition February 28 bringing home gold and silver.

The finals were close as both teams went into the final end of play with a tie score. The boys team pulled off a victory, winning gold and were crowned CWOSSA champs. The girls team won silver.

The boys team consisting of Skip Jack Middleton, Vice Sam Hastings, 2nd Eric Ruegg, Lead Adam Mekky, Alternate Patrick Fenton, and Coach Allan Walker, is heading to Fort Frances in March with fundraising events to be announced.

The girls team consisted of Skip Carsyn Cassidy, Vice Anna Nicholson, 2nd Maggie Corkin, Lead Sarah Mekky, Alternate Fiona Miller, and Coach Susan Dolphin.
