The Hutchison Team out of the Paisley Curling Club, whose members hail from Grey Bruce, won the Master Mens Curling Provincial Championships in St Mary’s, Ontario January 14, advancing them to the National Masters Championships later this year.

A round robin event over five days saw Skip Al Hutchison from Owen Sound, Vice Don Shane from Hanover, Second Gary Cobean from Southampton and Lead Les Shane from Kincardine come back from a third place tie, playing and winning six games straight over two days to beat out Ottawa’s Team Delaney.

The team will head to Surrey, British Columbia for national curling action in April, 2018.
