Shirley Stuart was in high spirits when she took part in the Swing Bowling competition during the 2017 Senior Games.

The 2017 Senior Games have come to an end and participants who took part in up to 13 activities ranging from 8-Ball to Crokinole to Swing Bowling were given prizes and thanked for their participation at an awards ceremony May 19 at the Chantry Centre in Southampton.

Events took place at Elgin Lodge, Chantry Centre, Faith Maple Hall, Rotary Hall at the Plex, Faith Lutheran Church and Lakeshore Recreation with many who received awards moving onto the county level games.

The award for top three participants was split four ways between Carol Walberg (right) who came first taking part in every activity, Lou Schafer in second, with Shirley Stuart and Mary Evers tied for third.
