The Saugeen Shores Lifesaving Club (SSLC) invited teams from around Ontario to participate in a two-day Sunset Competition July 16 and 17 in Saugeen Shores. A total of 35 competitors from three clubs were in attendance.

Saugeen Shores Aquatic Supervisor Shanna Reid said this was a regional meet and they did not do “overall winners” but the SSLC had a “great showing on both days."

Saturday, July 16 was the senior division which included teams from Waterloo, Saugeen Shores, Toronto Police Services, Ottawa Valley, Paradise Beach, Richmond Hill and Guelph.

On Sunday, July 17 the junior teams took to the beach with SSLC members going against teams from Guelph and Richmond Hill.
