The Saugeen Shores Dodgeball season has come to end after a day long double knock-out tournament, April 23, with the Originals coming out victorious after an undefeated tournament and a successful season.
The Originals beat the Throwbocops who won the Winter tournament in December, with the Average Hoes, The Dodgeball Team and the Dodgefathers rounding out the top five teams of the tournament.
Original’s team member and long-time dodgeball player Rob Fawcett, said that his team was “very lucky to have won” the tournament.
“We have a great, fun team, that really work well together. There are so many good teams in this league, that almost any team could have won. It makes for a fun weekend when everything is so well organized. Big thanks to S.A.S.S. (Social Athletics of Saugeen Shores) for all their work this season,” Fawcett said.
The Originals were undefeated in the year-end Dodgeball tournament, hosted by Social Athletics of Saugeen Shores, April 23.
