The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks have made a roster addition ahead of WOAA Sr. Hockey League's playoff roster freeze, which went into effect on January 10.
The Winterhawks have signed 27-year old goaltender Blake Sinclair. The Guelph native is no stranger to Winterhawks fans, as he guarded the Elora Rocks net during some of the most competitive games the Winterhawks have ever been involved in.
Sinclair backstopped the Rocks between 2009 and 2014.
In addition, Sinclair played junior B with the Guelph Dominators, as well as with the Tillsonburg Thunder of the WOAA.
Sinclair owns a 55-12-2 career record in the WOAA, with two shutouts.
The Winterhawks also recently re-signed defenceman Justin Ainslie. The 24-year old Wiarton native briefly appeared for the Winterhawks last season and has played three games since re-signing with the club.
The Winterhawks are back in action on Saturday January 16th when they visit the Shelburne Muskies at 8:00 p.m.
The two teams will have a return match in Port Elgin on Friday January 22 at 8:30 p.m.
