Jeannette Lee is a BGCDSB Trustee candidate for the municipalities of Saugeen Shores, Arran-Elderslie, Georgian Bluffs, Chatsworth, North Bruce Peninsula and South Bruce Peninsula.

Jeannette Lee is running for the Catholic School Board Trustee. She is a wife and a mother of three adult children. Jeannette worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in a hospital for twenty-two years. She has fundraised for a not-for-profit pro-life organization, and has volunteered for local Bruce County Catholic charities. Together with her husband she owns and operates Saint Bernard Books, a Catholic online bookstore based in Bruce County. She is the custodian at her local Bruce County Catholic Parish. She is an avid gardener and enjoys hiking.

Jeannette believes that parents should be informed and consulted about what schools are teaching their children, and that she will protect your right as Catholics to have schools which should promote Catholic moral teaching. She also believes that we need to remove political ideology from the curriculum, and equip our children with the skills they need to succeed in life. She will work to eliminate the “woke” education and other unnecessary distractions. Jeannette stands for transparency and will bring forward a motion to have all votes recorded and not just contentious ones. Jeannette will work to keep you informed of motions, and how she voted on them.
