A 17-year old in Arran-Elderslie has been charged with six assault related charges following an incident on a school bus on the afternoon of November 20.

South Bruce OPP received a report of an altercation between two students where the accused is alleged to have brandished an edged weapon and use racial slurs toward the victim.

The 17-year old was charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon, Uttering Threats, Intimidation and Public Incitement of Hatred. Their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
