Southampton Rotary and Dizzy Bird have joined forces for a coffee collaboration aimed at lifting spirits and strengthening community bonds.

A new '1938' blend, a rich Mexican dark roast will officially launch at Southampton Sparkles, November 21 at Dizzy Bird, 192 High Street in Southampton.

"I have long admired the good work the Southampton Rotary does in our community," said Dizzy Bird owner Jon Hepplewhite in a media release from Southampton Rotary, adding that the partnership is one way he can support Rotary's efforts.

"A great cup of coffee has the power to bring people together, and we're thrilled to do that alongside such an impactful organization," Hepplewhite added.

Portions of coffee sales will go to support Southampton Rotary initiatives in Saugeen Shores and communities worldwide and those attending the Southampton coffee shop on launch night will have a chance to win a gift package from Rotary and Dizzy Bird.

"We're thrilled to partner with Dizzy Bird to bring people together through this delicious new blend," said Mary Halbert, 1938 organizer and Southampton Rotarian. "A good cup of coffee can be the start of something meaningful," Halbert added.

1938 branded mugs are available for a $15 donation to Southampton Rotary and are available from both Dizzy Bird in Southampton and Rabbit Dash in Port Elgin while supplies last. The coffee retails for $15.
