The Town of Saugeen Shores is gearing up to raise the Progress Pride Flag for the second year at their municipal office.

In honour of Pride Month which takes place each year in the month of June, officials said in a Facebook post that the flag raising aims to "demonstrate our commitment toward equity and inclusion."

The flag raising will take place on Friday, May 31 at 12pm outside the municipal office, 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin. Everyone is welcome.
