2023 marks 85 years of "Service above Self" for the Rotary Club of Southampton and to commemorate the occasion they are thanking the community by holding a free Family Fun Day event, featuring food, drinks, entertainment, and a chance for a photo off with Bearama himself.

The event is set to be held at Jubilee Park, 50 Victoria Street in Southampton, on Saturday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, Family Fun Day will be held at the Southampton Coliseum Annex at 26 Albert Street South.

Southampton Rotary's Scavenger Hunt is also set to get underway later this month.

Entry forms can be picked up beginning April 22 from A Little of This and That, Southampton Arts, Dizzy Bird and Southampton Home Hardware, and provide participants with an opportunity to find out about some of the club's achievements and projects.

Families or individuals are asked to bring their completed forms to the Family Day event May 13 before 2pm for a chance to win Chamber Bucks or a gift certificate for Southampton's Fun in the Sun.
