The Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking input as to the design of a new Aquatic and Wellness Centre.

A public consultation will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Rotary Hall in the Plex, 600 Tomlinson Drive.

"Staff and Prime Consultants will gather the input to assist with the conceptual design of the facility and present that design to Council for consideration," read an August 16 media release.

Amenities under consideration for the new facility include a pool, gymnasium, fitness space and walking track. Staff is also looking for feedback around washroom and exterior space design.

The Summer of 2024 is the opening target for the facility.
