Bruce County Public Library (BCPL) has developed a new way to engage with their communities as part of their membership drive.

"Bruce County Public Library believes in a future where innovative ideas fundamentally change the way our communities learn, play, and connect with each other," read a July 5 media release. To help raise awareness of their services and programs, they have created custom information packages for families, businesses, cultural groups, and more. The kits include promotional brochures and posters to be shared with community members and groups that highlight the unique services and materials that are available with a free library card.

Community organizations can contact Bruce County Public Library by email or their local branch for more information or for customized information packages. "In return, the library is always looking for collaborations with community groups, and they encourage you to reach out to your local branch to inquire about how they can help your community group reach your goals," the release continued.

Library card holders can also access the library through their mobile app, available for both Android and iOS devices, which allows them to place holds, renew items and checked out materials, and download eBooks. Library cards also provide services and resources for business owners, cultural groups and families, including free access to continuing education with LinkedIn Learning, digital newspapers and magazines through PressReader, 3D printer training, sports kits, fishing rods, museum passes, and more.

“Bruce County Public Library really does have something for everyone, no matter your age or your interests," said Brooke McLean, Director of Library Services. “We encourage everyone to explore all that your Library offers."
