"Due to COVID, the stress on women and families has greatly increased," said Cheryl George Director of Kabaeshiwim Respite Women's Shelter.

The donations were divided evenly with Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey in Kincardine, Kabaeshiwin Respite Women's Shelter in Saugeen First Nation and the Women's Centre Grey Bruce in Owen Sound each receiving $1,453.
