Kimberley Inniss-Petersen announced her resignation from the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce November 27.
Kimberley Inniss-Petersen, Executive Director with the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce, announced her resignation from the organization Friday.
"It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing my departure from the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) as Executive Director. My last day will be December 16, 2020," read the announcement.
"Time has come for me to begin my own entrepreneurial journey. I will cherish the friends and colleagues I have made and hold onto the accomplishments that are part of my two-and-a-half-year history with the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce. I have thoroughly enjoyed leading the SSCC in a new direction and redesigning organizational and membership support structures," the announcement continued, going on to ensure members that the SSCC is in an "exceptionally good position" to continue operating through COVID-19.
"The SSCC would like to thank Kim for all of her hard work and guidance over the past two-and-a-half years, and wish her all the best on this new adventure! The SSCC will continue to connect our members with benefits, professional assistance and opportunities," the announcement concluded.
