Jayne Jagelewski, Director of Community Services for the Town of Saugeen Shores, has been appointed as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective September 11, 2020.

In an August 25 media release, the recruitment process for a permanent CAO has begun, continuing into the fall.

“I am confident that Director Jagelewski and our senior management team will be able to successfully lead the municipal administration until Council selects a new, permanent CAO,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.

Current CAO David Smith will move on from his role in September 2020 to pursue a new career opportunity in Port Hope, Ontario.
