DECEMBER 19 UPDATE: In a Thursday morning media release, as of 9 a.m. December 19, the Town of Saugeen Shores has declared the Significant Weather Event over.

The Town of Saugeen Shores is declaring a Significant Weather Event in respect to snowfall.

In a December 18 media release, beginning at 1:30 pm, this will continue until further notice. Users of the roads and sidewalks in the municipality are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and to use caution if doing so.
