As a fresh layer of snow blanketed the evening of December 3, the Chantry Island Cham-bettes filled the Saugeen Golf Club for their annual Christmas dinner. Before the meal began, the Cham-bette’s Tour of Homes Committee served up two cheques resulting from the proceeds from their 11th annual Christmas Tour of Homes held November 15 and 16 in Saugeen Shores.

Cheryl Borden and Barb DeBoer from the Caitlyn Cobean Community Crusaders welcomed a cheque for $2,700 and Mary-Jo Arnett from the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation gratefully accepted a cheque for $13,000.

The funds came as a result of the CCCC's partnership with the Chantry Island Cham-bettes and the 11th annual Christmas Tour of Homes held November 15 and 16 in Saugeen Shores.
