Conservative incumbent Ben Lobb has won his fourth term as the MP for Huron-Bruce with 48.5 percent (29,743) of the votes following the October 21 federal election that named a Liberal minority government and Justin Trudeau as Canada's Prime Minister for a second term.

Liberal candidate Allan Thompson came second with 33.2 percent (20,333) of the vote and NDP candidate Tony McQuail took 12.1 percent (7,389) of the vote.

Returning Green candidate Nicholas Wendler took 2,701 votes (4.4 percent) while PPC candidate Kevin Klerks took 1,115 (1.8 percent) votes.

Neighbouring Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound saw newcomer Conservative candidate Alex Ruff take the riding with 46.2 percent of the vote (26,584), followed by Liberal candidate Michael Den Tandt with 30 percent (17,247), NDP candidate Chris Stephen with 11.6 percent (6,666), Green candidate Danielle Valiquette with 8.7 percent (5,007), PPC candidate Bill Townsend with 3 percent (1,702) and Libertarian Daniel Little with .5 percent (316).
