The man pulled from Lake Huron Friday morning has died.
In a July 7 update from the South Bruce OPP, circumstances that led to the incident are still being investigated and the man has not been identified.
On Friday morning, July 5 at approximately 9 a.m. police were informed of a small aluminum boat travelling in circles just off the shores in Southampton.
Saugeen Shores Police, the South Bruce Marine Unit and Grey Bruce Marine Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as well as the Saugeen Shores Fire Department, the Canadian Coast Guard and Bruce County Paramedic Services attended.
Prior to the arrival of emergency services, three civilians pulled the man from the water and began CPR. Saugeen Shores Police attended and utilized an AED and continued CPR. He was transported to hospital by Bruce County EMS.
