'Tis the season for the Saugeen Shores Police annual food and toy drive in Saugeen Shores.

On Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. officers and auxiliary members will be at Rowland's Independent Grocer, 1244 Goderich Street in Port Elgin holding their Christmas Food Drive. Shoppers who wish to contribute can either purchase pre-packaged bags filled with essential non-perishable food items or purchase and donate selections of their choice.

On Saturday, December 15 members will be at Canadian Tire from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. holding a "Stuff the Cruiser" Toy Drive event. Santa Claus will also be there taking photos with the kids.

Toys can also be dropped off at the police station during regular business hours.
