During the month of November the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCMCC) has partnered with Sweet Grass and Thistles and the Wesley United Church on Saugeen First Nation to create and deliver Bimaadziwin Workshops.

In a BCMCC media release, Bimaadziwin means ‘the good path’ and the Bimaadziwin Workshops will teach you more about Anishinaabe culture and explore themes of Truth and Reconciliation.

The workshops will be led by Marilyn Roote and will provide an opportunity for participants to learn Anishinaabe language skills as well as create an art project related to experiences of residential school survivors.

The Bimaadziwin Workshops are set to take place November 17 at 1 p.m. and on November 24 at 1 p.m. The cost to attend is $20 plus HST for both dates or $12 plus HST for one.
