The breakfast program at École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School (ÉPESCS) got a kickstart October 1 as the local Harley Owners Group (HOG) donated $500 towards the elementary school program.
Members of the 13 person club who among them have two family members attending the Port Elgin school will also be donating $500 to Paisley Central School and $500 to Wingham Public School later this month.
The club, who donated $300 to the school in 2017, was able to up the ante in funds through fundraising efforts such as poker runs, barbecues and garage sales. An assist Unifor Education Centre also added to the total with special thanks to Ashley McCulloch from Unifor.
HOG has been going 18 years strong with members spread throughout Bruce County and Southern Ontario.
HOG has been operating for 18 years and raised funds for the breakfast program through poker runs, barbecues, garage sales, raffles and donations.
