The Port Elgin Rotary Club paid a special visit to Jubilee Park June 3 to provide their second instalment to the Southampton Rotary Club Splash Pad.

The Port Elgin Rotary Club committed $15,000 towards the project and $7,500 June 3 marked their final instalment. The accessible splash pad, along with the Port Elgin splash pad located at North Shore Park, will be open on weekends throughout the month of June, and seven days a week during the summer months.


While rotarians were gathering, a few youngsters waited patiently for their green hat to tumble out of one of the splash pad buckets, June 3.
