The Town of Saugeen Shores podcast, the Shore Report, has received an Honourable Mention through the Economic Development Council of Ontario’s Awards of Excellence in the category of Technology and New Media. In a media release, the podcast showcases community growth, local opportunity and shares stories of success as part of the Town of Saugeen Shores’ Communication Strategy.

“Saugeen Shores is committed to telling our story. Communication tools, like the Shore Report, ensure businesses, residents and visitors, learn about the community and the opportunity in the area,” said Saugeen Shores Mayor Mike Smith.

“We often refer to the Shore Report when a new business is looking to land in the area. It’s a great resource for those considering Saugeen Shores as it demonstrates community pride, provides localized information and is accessible for all,” said Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Jessica Linthorne.

The Shore Report launched in February, 2017 and boasts 40 episodes, including internal and external guests, community organizations, business owners and other representatives.
