Gerry Malcomson, Co-Treasurer of CFUW Southport presented a cheque to Candace Burton, Coordinator of the Owen Sound Outreach office of Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey.
Thanks to the approximately 90 people who came out on a very cold and blustery National Day of Action December 6, 2017 in Coulter Parkette, the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Southport presented cheques of $300 each to the Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey and the Kabaeshiwin Respite Women’s Shelter.
“We appreciate the Saugeen Shores community for their generosity and support of our event highlighting violence against women and children,” read a CFUW media release.
Pat McCutcheon, Past President CFUW Southport, presented a cheque to Cheryl George, House Manager of Kabaeshiwin Respite Women’s Shelter.
