Members of the Saugeen Shores Police Service collected non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank with the help of Santa Claus at Rowland’s Independent Grocer December 16.

Speciality brown paper bags containing breakfast food and other items were sold for a donation to assist those who wished to donate at the check-out, with supplies running low just two hours into the drive.

Those who purchased a paper bag were also given the opportunity to take home Christmas planters, sold at Rowland’s.
