The Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores (BGOSS) is inviting community members to join them for their community tagging days. Learn how and why the BGOSS tag monarchs on their journey to their overwintering grounds in Mexico.

The days are open to all ages, are a great activity for the whole family. Participants are asked to bring along butterfly nets, a camera and to wear sturdy shows.

Those wanting to participate are asked to meet the big flag (Pod S-6) in Southampton with the tagging dates and times as follows:

Tuesday, August 29 from 10 am to 12 noon (rain date: Wednesday, August 30 10 am to 12 noon)

Saturday, September 2 from 1 pm to 3 pm (rain date: Sunday, September 3 from 1 pm to 3 pm)

Saturday, September 9 from 10 am to 12 noon (rain date: Sunday, September 10 from 10 am to 12:00 noon).
