Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) is now planning for their second annual Relay for Life Youth event.
The event will be held at the SDSS track on Friday, May 12 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and organizers are inviting members of the Saugeen Shores community to participate along with the staff and students of SDSS.
You can become a team captain, join an already existing team or participate as an individual and registration is available online or visit relayforlife.ca/saugeenDSS for more information.
There is a $20 registration fee that can only be paid upon arrival at the designated registration table, however, all fundraising can be achieved through participants’ website event account once registered.
The event welcomes those currently battling cancer as well as those who consider themselves survivors. The $20 registration fee is waived for survivors - please identify yourself through the website registration process.
Those who cannot attend the event but wish to contribute, please consider doing so through the above links to help organizers meet their goal of raising $15,000.
