The Saugeen Shores Refugee Fund is proud to announce a public screening of Little Gandhi, a Canadian-made film about the truth behind the Syrian uprising.
It will show at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre on Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a panel discussion including Roula El-Rifai from Canada’s International Development Research Centre and, by Skype, the film’s director Sam Kadi.
Admission is free but space is limited so tickets must be booked in advance at the event’s online page.
Little Gandhi is the story of Syrian peace activist Ghiyath Matar whose brutal torture and death at the age of 26 outraged the international community.
