The Port Elgin Harbour was over run with hijinks, water fights, and dinghies during the 13th annual Dinghy Poker Run, September 4. The event that sees the boating community come together to squirt and splash one another, all for a good cause, was a perfect ending to the summer for children as well as children at heart.

Check points around the harbour had volunteers playing the dealer as groups in dinghies ventured around trying to get the best hand, while boaters did their best to soak the card players.

The Labour Day event concluded with two participants, Saul Schilder and Teaghan Coady, finishing first and second with a Flush each.

Proceeds raised by the entry costs will be donated to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
